This week, we say a fond farewell to our chef James after 18 years at Verulam House.

James has kept us well-fed and well-entertained over the years with his wonderful singing mini concerts, which have brought so much joy to residents and staff alike.

We will all miss him enormously, but we wish him the very best of luck for the future. Thank you for your years of dedication, kindness, and laughter.

Don't be a stranger, James. We hope you'll come back and entertain us again sometime soon!

πŸŽ‰ Good luck and goodbye from all of us at Verulam House.

It's always inspiring to see creativity bloom! 🌸✨ At our flower arranging session in Verulam, people who had never arranged flowers before surprised themselves by creating beautiful, unique masterpieces. With a little guidance, plenty of imagination, and a wonderful selection of blooms, everyone left feeling proud of what they had achieved.

A fantastic reminder that you don't need experience to be creative, just the willingness to give something new a try! πŸ’β€οΈ

On Tuesday afternoon, we gathered once again for our weekly Hymns and Prayers service, a special time of worship, singing, and fellowship. We are so grateful for the continued support of the Cathedral team, who visit us each week and help make these services so uplifting and inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. These moments of faith, connection, and community are truly cherished by all. πŸ™πŸŽΆ
